Gia (Grigory) Giorgadze was born in 1960. He Graduated from Tbilisi and Moscow State Universities (1978-1984), in the faculty of Mathematics & Mechanics. He is a Post-graduate student of Tbilisi State University (1984-1988) and Steklov Mathematical Institute (1989-1992) in Moscow. His Ph. D. Thesis: "Factorization problem and moduli spaces of holomorphic vector bundles on Riemann surfaces", Steklov Mathematical Institute, 1992. His Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, Thesis: “invariants of holomorphic bundles and Riemann-Hilbert problems”, Tbilisi State University, 2004.


Gia Giorgadze was  deputy director of the Institute of Cybernetics of the Georgian Academy of Sciences between 1998 and 2006 as well as the Chief Researcher (2005-2006) of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in Dubna.


Gia Giorgadze is a Professor at Tbilisi State University since 2000. Since 2006, he has been head of department of Mathematical Cybernetics at Georgian Technical University and since 2010, he has been head of the department of Mathematics of Tbilisi International Center of Mathematics and Informatics (TICMI).


G. Giorgadze is the deputy Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal "Contemporary Mathematics and its Applications" and he is a member of  International Society for  Analysis,its  Applications and omputation   (ISAAC).

G.Giorgadze is the author of more 80 scientific papers. His main works are dedicated to mathematical physics, analytical theory of the differential equations and quantum computing.
